How to lock exams to prevent scores editing

  1. Go to the Academics Module

  2. Click on the Examination link on the sidebar

  3. On the dropdown list, select Manage Exams link

  4. Click the Update link of the desired exam

  5. On the Exam edit form, in the Status field, select the LOCKED option on the drop-down list

NOTEs:

  • Make sure you choose Status "Locked" after the exam results are verified, analyzed, and released. This will reduce the chances of either accidental or intentional correction of marks of a past exam in case you have problems, contact our support team for help

  • You will not be able to lock exams unless you have the necessary permissions
