1. Go to the **Academics Module**

2. Click on the **Examination** link on the sidebar

3. On the dropdown list, select [Manage Exams ](https://app.skoolite.co.ke/index.php?r=academics%2Fexams%2Factive)link

4. Click the **Update** link of the desired exam

5. On the Exam edit form, in the **Status** field, select the **LOCKED** option on the drop-down list

**NOTEs:**

* Make sure you choose Status "Locked" after the exam results are verified, analyzed, and released. This will reduce the chances of either accidental or intentional correction of marks of a past exam in case you have problems, contact our support team for help

* You will not be able to lock exams unless you have the necessary permissions
